Your Members: Pushed vs. Pulled

Matt -- Thanks for the video post. Very Cool. I am a big believer in membership as a push product. Take a look at my post on this Membership Life Cycle – Part II, December 27th. Clearly some portion of members will seek out an association. But those without some type of push tend to have declining or stagnant memberships. I liked your comparison with church membership. This is an area I would like to learn more about. How does it compare with an association. I suspect that it is a push also. Keep blogging. Tony

By the way, one other thought. Wouldn't it be cool if our members loved us so much that they would canvass the neighborhood to look for new members. What gives these church members such a high level of engagement and commitment? Tony
